XZYON EMS is hiring Emergency Medical Responders to join our non-emergency ambulance and medical transportation crews in Buford, Georgia. As an EMR, you’ll help move patients safely and comfortably between hospitals, healthcare facilities, and home, working alongside licensed EMS partners across Gwinnett County and the greater Metro Atlanta region. Responsibilities

  • Help your crew safely lift, move, secure, and unload patients on stretchers during transport
  • Provide basic patient care within the Georgia EMR scope of practice, including obtaining vital signs and assisting with supplemental oxygen
  • Observe patients throughout transport and promptly report any change in condition to your crew partner
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and hospital and facility staff
  • Help keep vehicles, equipment, and supplies clean, stocked, and ready for service
  • Assist with accurate and timely transport documentation
  • Follow XZYON EMS policies, infection-control practices, and Georgia EMS regulations

Required qualifications

  • At least two years of relevant professional experience
  • A current Georgia Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) license or certification
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Ability to perform the responsibilities of the role, as described above
