This Privacy Policy describes how Eastside Emergency Medical Services LLC, doing business as XZYON EMS (“XZYON EMS,” “XZYON,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information collected through this website, xzyonems.com (the “Site”). It applies to the Site only, not to any other channel through which you may interact with XZYON, such as by phone or in person.

Information you provide to us

We collect information you choose to submit directly through the Site’s forms. We do not collect this information any other way.

Contact form

If you submit our Contact form, we collect your name, email address, an optional phone number, and the message you write. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and for no other purpose.

Careers applications

If you apply for an open position through the Site, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the position you’re applying for, your answers to two eligibility questions (whether you hold a valid Georgia EMT license and a valid driver’s license), and the résumé file you upload. We use this information to evaluate your application, to contact you about it, and for related recruiting and employment purposes. Your résumé is stored in a private file storage system that is not publicly accessible; only authorized XZYON staff can retrieve it, and each retrieval uses a temporary, individually generated access link rather than a permanent public one.

Information collected automatically

When you submit the Contact form or a Careers application, we also record limited technical information associated with that submission — including an obscured (hashed) version of your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string — which we use to help detect spam and abusive submissions and to enforce reasonable rate limits on how often the same source can submit a form. We do not store your IP address in readable form.

Beyond what is described above, this Site does not currently use cookies, analytics, or advertising tracking technologies. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy to describe what is added and why.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to messages sent through the Contact form;
• Evaluate and process Careers applications, and communicate with applicants about them;
• Operate, maintain, and secure the Site; and
• Detect and prevent spam, abuse, and fraudulent submissions.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the information described above for advertising or share it with advertisers.

Service providers

We use a small number of third-party service providers to operate the Site and its forms on our behalf, including a hosting provider (Vercel), a database and file-storage provider (Supabase), and an email-delivery provider (Resend) used to send Contact and Careers-related emails. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

Data retention

We retain the information described in this policy for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, or as needed to comply with our legal and recordkeeping obligations. We do not currently have an automated deletion schedule for this information; retention periods may be reviewed and adjusted by XZYON from time to time.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect the information described in this policy, including role-based access controls for our administrative systems and private, access-controlled storage for uploaded résumés. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

This Site is intended for healthcare organizations, job applicants, and other adult visitors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this Site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
